Hello, I first want to say how much I love your face products. Came to your site today because I need some organic hand liquid soap and hoped you had some. I’ve been in CO almost 3 years and am 55. Keeping hydrated in this climate is a challenge and particularly my hand as my job requires frequent washing. Have you considered expanding into body care? Thank you for your lovely products. Christine

Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out, Yes, we will be making more products, once we get in our new building, in the meantime, you can use our facial cleansers as hand cleansers, that is what I do.

I’m almost 65 with normal skin type but pretty fair.  Which of your products would you recommend, or should I try a travel pack to test things out?

If you like oils, you would love our Seven Oils, but trying s travel pack is a great way to try everything for the skin type.

Hi, I live in southern Colorado and spend a great deal of time outdoors. Do any of your skin care products contain sunscreen?

We do not use any SPF sunscreens we use shea butter, avocado oil, etc.  As a farmer, skier, hiker, I am outside a ton, and I wear a hat, and very light long sleeve shirts…….I am concerned that the synthetic chemicals in the sunscreen are very harmful.

Hi there! I was wondering why you don’t offer an eye cream? What do you recommend putting under and around the eyes, just regular moisturizer? Thanks! I love your products and have been getting compliments on my “flawless” skin!

We do not offer an eye cream because the FDA mandates that any product made for the eye area or has the word, “eye” on it, contain synthetic chemicals…they provide a list the manufacturer can pick which chemical.  We never use synthetic chemicals, therefore, we cannot make an eye product.  It is good for a consumer to know, that if the company makes an, “eye” product, the company uses synthetic chemicals…..It is also important to point out, that the FDA makes a very good point, you do not want anything around your eyes that could contain bacteria….we think you also do not want synthetic chemicals, hence, I cannot recommend anything close to the eye.  We do not recommend you get any product close to your eyes.  Thank you, Lily

How long does the Rejuvenating Enzyme Mask keep?  I found an unopened jar that I have had for a few years.

We only guarantee freshness for one year.  But, that said, since there is a lot of honey it keeps for longer sometimes…..I would use it on the heels of my feet…..you never want to get any product ever, near the eyes, but especially if it is older……I love it on my heels to help get rid of the dead skin.

I have been suffering from adult acne since I’ve been 29 I am now 37. I have been on retin a for years but pimples seems to stay stuck under my skin and I have a lot of hyper pigmentation. I use sunscreen regularly but have light wrinkles. I use to live in hot humid weather now I live in Colorado which can have harsh climate. So I am battling dry skin and acne. I tried your seven facial rejuvenating oil on forearm and it was very nice! I am so desperate for help and to get my skin under control. Your help would be greatly appreciated to direct me to the correct products to buy from your line that may help my skin.

I am Hispanic-Mexican. I have beige skin with yellow under tones. I was told I am a Fitzpatrick type IV
I am 37 going to turn 38 in February

I have Acne and dry skin

Thank you so much for reaching out!! I had the same acne…..it was awful……First, I would make sure you are getting tons of fresh veggies and fruits and water, the basics, I also found green drinks helpful. Second, most cyst type acne is hormonal, so getting your hormones under control with supplements, naturopaths are great, but there are also super brilliant people at Whole Foods and Natural Grocers…
Three I would only use synthetic free skin care products, like ours……I would use:

Our rejuvenating enzyme mask a couple times a week, leave on for 30 minutes.
Use our balancing toner on a cotton ball every morning and night after washing with
Our Seaweed cleanser
Use our oil free skin conditioning serum…..if it is not enough try the Kukui oil, it is much lighter then the 7 oils, use the 7 oils if it is not too rich for you.
Use our moisturizing mist all day to hydrate, the lavender oil helps keep bacteria at bay and your skin clean.

This is a 3 prong approach….I highly suggest you really intake clean foods, for the most part, you do not need to be perfect. Speak to an educated individual about balancing hormones, naturally.

One piece of good news, is almost all female cyst acne cleans up around age 41.

What is the shelf-life for your enzyme mask?

It should be good way over a year…since honey really does not go bad…..if it smells bad, just like bad food, I would not use, and never get any product into your eyes!

First off, I ant to say I LOVE your mission statement as I feel exactly the same way !!! I am also asking for your professional help for my own personal skin care regimen. I am 57 years young with mild rosacea. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania with the hope of moving to Pagosa Springs, Colorado in the very near future 😀 I have fine lines and wrinkles around my mouth and eyes that I want to get rid of !! I am also looking for an eye cream. I have been researching organic chemical free skin care for months now.May I ask why you use water and you don’t use jojoba oil n your products? I hope to hear from you soon !!! With warm regards, Bonnie

Hi Bonnie, we use water because it is a great carrier and the giver of life. We use rosehip seed and primrose oil, but jojoba is nice.  I suggest you use our seven facial rejuvenating oils…Kukui oil is great for many skin problems.

What would you recommend for someone with oily aging skin? Gave her a sample of nourishing moisture cream and she says her skin is sticky.

I’d recommend the Oil Free Skin Conditioning Serum and the Balancing Facial Lotion.

Hi just came across your products online & Twitter – I see your skin care is all nature with organic sources herbs etc which is great. I was just curious what is used as the preservative to keep the product from spoiling and what is shelf life of products. Thanks!

For over thirty years we have been formulating and reformulating to get shelf life to one year.  We use essential oils, USDA certified organic alcohol tinctures of herbs, grapefruit seed extract, and vitamin c.  In addition, to lotion pumps so our fingers to not introduce anything to the product, etc.

Hello, My skin is good but at over 65 not responding as well to moisturizers. I live in Louisiana and am wondering if your moisturizer would be appropriate here; the climate is pretty wet. I am currently using organic Argan oil straight some nights and just seem to need something more to balance it out during winter months with heating on. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Thanks for reaching out….We have some very loyal customers in LA. We have a light highly absorbing USDA certified organic Kukui oil, but at 57 here in our drier climate I do prefer our 7 Rejuvenating oils, it has the Kukui, primrose oil, rose hip seed oil, that I much prefer to Argan oil. I would try our 7 oils, two sizes to fit your budget. You can read on our blog all about the oil and reviews. Here is the link to the two ounce. You can also read reviews.

You may want to try our cleansers and toners, too, they are fabulous. Thanks so much, please let us know if we can be of further service. Thanks, Lily

Hello, I have a question about one of your ingredients. I bought the Hydrating facial spray toner, I was also interested in the Nourishing toner, most of the ingredients are great, except “alcohol”. In my experience with “dry skin” or “anti-aging” products, most do not have alcohol due to it being very drying. Why do your toners have alcohol? Is there an alternative?
Thank you for your time, looking forward to trying more in the Nourishing line.

Thanks so much for your recent purchase and for your interest in our products. USDA certified organic alcohol, is only from seeds and plants that are born and grown in a USDA certified organic environment and documented by the USDA.

USDA certified organic alcohol has nothing in common with SD alcohol, which is usually petroleum derived and toxic to the skin and body. The alcohol we use is similar to Vodka, it is very clean. It is the only ingredient the USDA certified organic program will allow to be used as a preservative.

There is so much misinformation out there, actually, just plain wrong information, regarding alcohol, and everything about organic skin care, we have been selling these products for 30 years now, so we have a good idea of what the truth is now.

We use it in all toners, because water encourages growth, both in a garden or a skin care product, the kind of growth we do not want in a skin care product, mold and bacteria, alcohol, along with a lot of the herbs we use, are anti-bacterial.

No, I would not say that USDA certified organic alcohol is drying. I am 57 and I have been using our balancing toner everyday on a cotton ball, and of course, now I have dry skin, and it leaves my skin clean and radiant. I use the Seven facial rejuvenating oils to replenish moisture, several times a day.

There is not an alternative, other then synthetic chemicals, which we have avoided for over 30 years! When you buy any of our products you know there is no synthetic chemicals, ever!

Thanks again for your recent purchase and questions, please do not hesitate to ask me questions, if I can be of further service.

Could you please tell me if your Balancing Facial Toner has a spray mister? Also I know the toners, etc are in glass but are the mini sizes in glass, too?

Yes, the Balancing Facial Toner has a spray mister.  No, the 1/2 ounce size is not in glass, they are just a trial size for a few treatments.
The Balancing Facial Toner is one of my favorite products, used on a cotton ball it removes all grim and make up from the day, leaving your skin fresh and toned.

I just purchased the trial size of the balancing skincare line. My face is combination dry and this line seems a little drying since it is for combination oily. What would you recommend for me?

Thankyou. I really love your skincare even though I just purchased it. It feels amazing!

I look forward to hearing from you.

I am 57 and I still use the balancing toner and cleanser…..the mask is for all skin types and just won it’s 6th award as best mask!
You may want to try to Kukui oil or 7 rejuvenating if you have dry spots….I love the 7 oils, it is rich with primrose oil and rose hip seed oil!  Most stores have free testers where you can try it and see if you like how it feels.

I was glad when I came across your site tonight. I was raised in the Denver area, and still have family there.
Can you recommend anything for me to order that will help with hair loss? Like a lot of women who have gotten older, I am loosing hair at the crown and it’s getting thin in s lot of places.
I hope there is a product you can recommend. I have read coconut oil and lavender may be beneficial, but I want more information available. Thank you!

Have you had your thyroid checked?  I would start there with a blood test….many women over 45 have depleted thyroid which also makes them super fatigued.

I think many natural remedies can help as you mentioned, standing on your head, serious greens, like kale and spirilina.  I am sorry, but I have not heard of a product you can buy that really works…..sorry I am not more help.  Lily

I am over 50 with fine lines, most concerned with Marinette type of lines that are developing and have rosacea. What skin care line would you recommend? (And why). I’m interested in reducing the redness of my complexion and the underlying blemishes that come with rosacea. Thanks

If you are dry, I would go with the dry line, because it has the 7 facial rejuvenating oils which contains primrose and rose hip seed oil and , is richer products for dryer skin.  If you are not that dry, I would go with the balancing line,  it has the balancing toner I use with a cotton ball, very healing, very anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.  They both contain the mask, which has won 5 national awards for best mask.
I have had a problem with a rash recently….and I have really benefited from steaming and drinking alkaline tea….both can often help many skin conditions and are pleasant, as well.   You may also want to look on our blog for natural rosacea remedies, too.

Hello i have three teen age girls (19) and twins (16) . All three of my girls have horrible acne . we have tried everything. My oldest is now on medicine and all kinds of stuff the dermatologist has given to her. I would really like to find a skin care that would help the girls with their skin using organic products. I was looking at your site and wanted to order the sample kits for my girls but when i select the sample kit im not sure the acne prone products are available in a kit. As you
