Since the environmental movement in 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated every year on April 22. Lily Morgan, Founder and Formulator of Lily Organics Fresh Skin Care, has made it a point to ‘celebrate’ Earth Day year round. With a minimal carbon footprint from her skincare line and a love for Mother Earth, Lily is making sure to do her part today, and every day. In honor of Earth Day this year, Lily will be planting 100 Cottonwood and Lilac trees.

 

Lily, a seventh-generation farmer, preserves 185 acres of land in Colorado. Her company, Lily Organics, only throws away 1/2 a bag of trash each month by re-using and recycling anything and everything it can. Ingredients for Lily Organics are grown on Lily’s USDA Certified Organic farm and walked over to her USDA Certified Organic lab where they are formulated into the freshest skincare products. Those products are then packaged in recyclable glass and shipped directly to the customer. One of Lily Organics products, Kukui Sensitive Facial Oil Treatment, is on the market as USDA Certified Organic, and five more just received approval.

 

Earth Day is a great way for people to become aware of the environment and what we need to do to protect it for future generations.
