 Cleansing grains:

1 cup finely ground oats

2 cups facial or cosmetic clay

¼ cup finely ground almonds

Grind all the ingredients. To use, mix one to two teaspoons of the cleansing grains with water. Stir into a paste and gently massage into face. Allow to dry, and rinse off with warm water. If you have cyst acne and sores, be careful not to aggravate them.

You can add salt or sugar to any cleanser to provide a “scrub” feel, if you prefer.

Any Fruit Revitalizing Mask:

½ ripe avocado, peeled apple, peach, tomato, or other fruit

1 tablespoon fresh tomato juice

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Tie your hair back well away from your face, then cleanse your face and throat.

Mash the fruit and add the tomato and lemon juices. Using a fork or potato masher, mix thoroughly. Spread the paste over your face and neck, avoiding the areas around the eyes. Lie back and relax for fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse off with water, pat dry, tone, and moisturize.

Yogurt and Clay Packs for Oily and Acne Skins:

3 tablespoons Fuller’s earth

2 teaspoons natural yogurt

2 teaspoons potato water

Blend the Fuller’s earth, yogurt, and potato water into a smooth paste. Apply the mixture to your face for fifteen to twenty minutes. Rinse off with water, pat dry, tone, and moisturize. Because this has a drying effect on the skin, it should never be used more than twice a week.

Good luck!
