I love facial oils, however, when I was younger and I had oily skin, I was no fan of oils! Today, I thought I would address the oil free alternative.
We have a wonderful Oil Free Skin Conditioning Serum. I made it for myself, so you know, I loved it. ( I say it in past tense, because, now, that I have become, what my son refers to as a, “geezer,” but what I like to think as, “ripe and in my prime.” my skin has very different needs.)
An oil free moisturizer is wonderful for people who feel like they need a moisturizer, but either are just too young for the heavier versions or they are prone to break outs.
Our Oil Free Skin Conditioning serum has 19 different healing herbs for the skin, including, comfrey which is cell regenerative and anti-wrinkle. Yarrow, which has been used for centuries for healing wounds and contains azulene, which is anti-inflammatory and also found in chamomile. It contains shavegrass, (also known as horsetail) that is high in silica, used to increase connective tissue.
Many of these herbs that have been used historically for wound healing are dynamite as facial care ingredients. If they healed serious wounds in battles and helped mend broken bones, they can do miracles for your small fine lines and wrinkles!
Our Oil Free Skin Conditioning Serum is bathed in pure aloe vera gel with a bit of vegetable glycerin. Vegetable glycerin is a humctant, that actually brings moisture from the air to your skin. It almost feels like an oil it is so silky, but it is highly absorbent. It can be a bit viscous, due the nature of the ingredients, but don’t let that distract you from the fundamental benefits to your skin of all of Mother Nature’s bounty inside that little bottle.
These ingredients actually give your skin what it needs. These are the ingredients the universe provided for us to use. They condition and heal the skin while healing and moisturizing. They work in symphony with your body and skin to stimulate cell proliferation and improve skin’s overall performance.
Many people, for many different reasons desire or require an oil free moisturizer, just make sure that you get one that is free from any synthetic chemicals. Look for companies that say that right on the label. “No synthetic chemicals–ever!” is what we say.
