Pure, organically grown skin care products are much different than the mass produced low grade chemical filled products. Therefore, they need to be used much differently.
Purity of Natural Skin Care Products
First, because organic skin care products are pure and clean. They are free of fillers and petro- products, so you need to use much less. Less is better! This is what I tell all of our customers. My mom used to buy a mass produced hand and body lotion I used as a kid. It took half the bottle to get any feel of coverage on my skin.
Because they are so fresh and clean, the same organic skin care products should be used for day and night. You don’t want to buy 13 different products to hang around your house for the next year. Instead, buy 4 different products, and use them day and night. Use them up quickly to maintain their freshness and potency.
Concentration of Organic Skin Care Products
If your organic facial cream or oil does not penetrate right into your skin, one of two things is happening. Either you are using too much, or your skin does not need that rich of a product.
For example, a 17 year with some blemishes does not need to use our dry skin line. Depending on her skin type and her climate, a 37 year old may not need our dry skin line. If you find that organic skin care products are not working for you as well as you thought the petro-chemical products were, it is because you are just not using them effectively or you may not be using the right products.
Organic skin care products must be used sparingly to be effective. They are filled with plants and oils that are truly beneficial to your skin and a little bit goes a long way. We have been conditioned to think more is better, but not when it comes to organic skin care products. Use as little as possible. If you put to much on, it will just sit on your skin and not penetrate.
Organic skin care products will give you the results you want long term, unlike, the mass produced chemical filled products. They may give you some short term results that turn into long term disaster.
