Paying It Forward – One Tibet Sponsorship At A Time

Lily Farm Fresh is paying it forward and doing are part to help those who need it the most. We have been sponsoring many individuals in Tibet for a number of years. We pride ourselves on being able to do more and give back to others so that they might be able to do the same one day. Below are some of the wonderful individuals we have had the privilege to lend a helping hand to, and their stories.

Tenzin Phuntsok

We have been sponsoring this amazing young man ever since he was a small boy. Through that time, his mother was quite unwell but now, is happily doing better, with blood pressure medicine and proper medical care. He is also doing well and is now working on a Masters Degree in Economics. His goal is to be a teacher of business and commerce classes, ideally for young Tibetans. He is now 24 years old and his health is good and his studies have been improving steadily over the last few years. He wants to be in a position to take care of his mother and help his brothers as he gets older and grows his career.

Tenzin Norzin

A young woman studying nursing and working via internships as she works her way through a good nursing school program. We have helped her with your long-time sponsorship and also funds from our scholarship fund to help with her school costs. She is a special young woman who has helped many times with her nursing skills and knowledge when others are in the camp. Our funds are helping her pursue her masters degree in nursing.

Tesering Choephel

Is an older man who lives at the Home for the Elderly, who is 90+ years of age. He used to help keep up the grounds at the Home, but his eyesight and hearing are getting to be problematic now. He is always very friendly sends us his deepest thanks as we have been there for him for many years and comments that our support helps him to not feel so alone.

Helping these and other Tibetan citizens is not about us tooting our own horn, it is simply about helping others so that they have the chance at living a better and full life. If we can give them that chance with our support we are more than happy to do it! We love these individuals as part of own family and are so appreciate of the many life lessons they have taught us throughout our 12 years as sponsors. Paying it forward one person at a time!
